Slow Cookers For ‘The Positivi-tea’ Project

Last month, we have decided to donate to The Positivitree for their supper club project ‘The Positivi-tea’, in partnership with Can Cook. This club is for parents/carers of children at the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free accommodation to families while their child is in hospital, enabling them to stay close to each other and maintain as much normality as possible.

When you have a sick child, eating well is often the least of your worries. The project allows the parents of the children to enjoy a hot meal with other parents, creating a sense of community. We have donated 10 slow cookers which will help with food preparation for the club.

Alder Hey Children’s Hospital is one of the biggest and busiest children’s hospitals in Europe, and we are incredibly happy that many parents will be able to benefit from our donation.
